A weekend celebration of peak mango season brings tastings, culinary experiences and tropical culture to Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden.
Mango Festival takes place June 13 and 14 in Coral Gables, continuing a tradition spanning more than three decades. The annual event draws growers, chefs and enthusiasts for one of the country’s largest showcases dedicated to the fruit, featuring more than 400 mango varieties alongside tastings, talks and interactive experiences.

Guests can explore a wide range of mango cultivars through curated tastings and displays highlighting the fruit’s global reach and agricultural significance. Selections from Fairchild’s Tropical Fruit Program offer insight into flavor profiles, growing conditions and the diversity of this seasonal staple.
Mango Marketplace and Culinary Offerings
A vibrant marketplace features local vendors offering mango-inspired products, while food stations present creative dishes and beverages centered on the fruit. From fresh smoothies to specialty cocktails for guests 21 and over, the culinary component reflects both traditional uses and contemporary interpretations.

Educational programming includes expert-led talks on cultivation, culinary applications and horticultural practices. Visitors can also browse the Fairchild Choice Mango Tree Sale, with varieties suited to South Florida growing conditions, and purchase fresh mangoes harvested on-site while supplies last.
