3 Decades Rewind: The 70s Show

Arena rock, layered vocal harmonies and guitar-driven classics revisit the sound of the 1970s at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center. Taking place Saturday, March 13, The 70s Show draws from the music of Queen, Electric Light Orchestra, Chicago and Eagles, tracing styles that ranged from theatrical and symphonic rock to the polished harmonies of the West Coast. The program is presented by 3 Decades Rewind.

The concert also reaches back to late-1960s artists whose songwriting and arrangements helped shape the following decade, including The Beatles and Crosby, Stills & Nash. Performed by a live band, the program connects those influences with the arena anthems, elaborate arrangements and extended guitar work that became hallmarks of 1970s classic rock.
