44th Annual Frost Honor Band Concert: Frost Wind Ensemble

Two hundred young musicians from across Florida join the Frost Wind Ensemble for an annual concert centered on large-ensemble performance and shared musical experience. The 44th Annual Frost Honor Band Concert takes place Sunday, January 24 at Gusman Concert Hall as part of the Frost School of Music’s 2026-2027 season. Michael Hancock directs the program, bringing student performers together with Frost’s premier wind ensemble.
The concert highlights the Honor Band tradition of pairing advanced pre-college musicians with university-level performers in a collaborative setting, giving participants the opportunity to rehearse and perform challenging wind repertoire on the Frost stage.
