A daylong cultural program blending Caribbean cuisine, visual art and live performance takes place at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex. Designed as a lead-up to Miami Karnival, the event highlights creative voices from across the Caribbean diaspora.
Taking place Saturday, April 11, A Taste of Miami Karnival: Arts & Eats brings together artists, chefs and cultural practitioners for a series of interactive experiences. The program features work by artist Barbacar, culinary presentations by chef Paul Toussaint and a performance by dancer and choreographer Peter London, alongside workshops, panel discussions and a community mural activation.
Throughout the day, guests can explore live art sessions, culinary demonstrations and a food competition showcasing Caribbean-inspired dishes. The event reflects the intersection of food, storytelling and artistic expression, offering a multidisciplinary approach to celebrating culture and community.
