A woman-led Miami band blending pop, rock, soul and spoken word takes the Arsht Center’s outdoor stage with a performance rooted in lyrical storytelling and powerhouse vocals.
Alexa & the Old-Fashioneds perform Friday, April 10 as part of the Live on the Plaza series. Fronted by singer-songwriter Alexa Lash, named Best Songwriter of 2024 by Miami New Times, the quartet is known for songs that move between intimacy and intensity, with Lash’s voice drawing comparisons to Florence Welch, Adele and Amy Winehouse. The concert features music from their album Heartbreak in Movements along with new material, joined by guest performers violinist Belinda Stohner and cellist Jose Pradas. Tickets go on public sale September 19.
