Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

Lewis Carroll’s fantastical world comes to the stage as Miami City Ballet presents Christopher Wheeldon’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland for the first time. Part of the company’s 2026-27 season, the production runs February 25 through March 7, with performances Thursday through Sunday at the Adrienne Arsht Center’s Ziff Ballet Opera House.

Set to a score by Joby Talbot, Wheeldon’s ballet follows Alice through a surreal landscape populated by characters including the Mad Hatter, the Queen of Hearts and the White Rabbit. The production combines classical ballet with theatrical storytelling, large-scale visual effects and comic character work.

Originally created for The Royal Ballet and the National Ballet of Canada, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland has since been staged internationally. Miami City Ballet’s production brings the work into the company repertory for the first time.
