America250: Celebrating American Innovation
Through Dec 31, 2026
From: 10:00 AM to 06:00 PM
American scientific discovery comes into focus through a museum-wide poster exhibition highlighting 250 innovators, researchers and changemakers. America250: Celebrating American Innovation is on view throughout the year at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science, presented in recognition of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The exhibition connects historic breakthroughs and contemporary research with the museum’s science galleries and interactive spaces.
Posters placed throughout the museum spotlight achievements in marine science, human health, aeronautics and flight, paleontology and astronomy. Featured figures range from widely recognized innovators such as Amelia Earhart and Jonas Salk to University of Miami scientists working in coral reef and shark conservation.
Visitors can begin in the museum’s Atrium, then follow themed sections across multiple levels, including The Dive, meLab, the Level 4 Terrace, the Feathers to the Stars vestibule and the Level 2 Terrace outside the Frost Planetarium exit. An America250 Passport invites guests to collect stamps at each location and complete the route for a commemorative prize from the Science Store.
