Amy Arlo & Almost Blue

Jazz and blues vocalist Amy Arlo leads Almost Blue in a free outdoor concert at Lummus Park in Miami Beach. The performance takes place Sunday, August 2, as part of the weekly Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series. The program draws on Arlo’s Philadelphia roots and the jazz and blues traditions that shaped her vocal style.

Formed in Miami in 2005, Almost Blue features Arlo on lead vocals, Albert “Big Al” Arguelles on guitar and vocals, Ray Robinson on drums and Gus Luck on bass.

The concert will be held in Lummus Park between 14th Street and 14th Place. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnics. In case of rain, the performance will move inside The Betsy Hotel.
