An Evening With Itzhak Perlman
Mar 04, 2027
Starting: 7:30 PM
Itzhak Perlman combines music, storytelling and archival images in a multimedia program at the Knight Concert Hall. An Evening With Itzhak Perlman takes place Thursday, March 4 at the Adrienne Arsht Center as part of the 2026-2027 Classical Music Series. The program will be announced from the stage and features Perlman performing with longtime pianist and collaborator Rohan De Silva.
Widely regarded as one of the leading violinists of his generation, Perlman is known for his technical command, expressive playing and ability to connect with audiences beyond the traditional recital format. This program offers a more personal perspective on his life and career, pairing live performance with stories from the stage.
Curated by Tony Award-winning director Dan Sullivan and produced by Elliott Forrest, the evening includes personal photographs and clips from the Grammy-nominated documentary Itzhak. The result is both a concert and a portrait of the artist behind a landmark classical music career.
