An Evening with Legna Rodríguez Iglesias

Experience an evening of poetry and storytelling on Friday, October 18, at Books & Books in Coconut Grove, with celebrated Cuban poet, playwright and storyteller Legna Rodríguez Iglesias. Presented in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, this open mic event will showcase original work by Miami Dade College Padrón Campus students, who will perform pieces developed through writing exercises led by Rodríguez Iglesias. Known for her distinctive voice and engaging narratives, the Cuban poet, playwright and storyteller brings a playful yet profound perspective to her work. Admission is free.
