Anemoia + Afrobeta
Jan 23, 2026
From: 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM
A night of groove-forward experimentation and dancefloor-ready energy unfolds at ZeyZey Miami with live sets from Anemoia and Afrobeta.
Anemoia is a Miami-based trio led by Armando Lopez, Andres Ferret and Aaron Lebos, whose sound sits at the intersection of psych rock, jazz and lo-fi. Built from improvisations first captured as voice notes, their music balances fluid musicianship with song-driven structure, pairing rhythmic weight with melodic restraint. Active since 2020 and released via LaReserve Records, the group is known for performances that move seamlessly between composed passages and exploratory jams.
They are joined by Afrobeta, the long-running Miami electro-pop duo whose high-energy blend of electronic, funk and Latin rhythms has made them a fixture of the city’s nightlife and festival circuit. Winners of a regional Emmy Award for their PBS-broadcast documentary Birthright, Afrobeta has performed everywhere from Ultra Music Festival to Glastonbury, sharing stages with artists including Sofi Tukker, Hot Chip and The Crystal Method. Their current live sets feature new material from the forthcoming album ESO ES, alongside crowd-favorite pop-forward tracks.
Anemoia + Afrobeta takes place Friday, January 23 at ZeyZey Miami. Entry is free, and the event is open to guests ages 18 and over.
