Annual Basel B.A.E: Black Art Experience

Art, music and community converge in Overtown as Basel B.A.E returns to The Urban for its ninth edition. Presented by Socialxchange and sponsored by Art of Black Miami, the Southeast Overtown Park West CRA and Maker’s Mark, the annual Black Art Experience highlights the depth and range of contemporary Black creativity during Miami Art Week.
On Friday, December 5, the event brings together emerging and established artists working across painting, photography, sculpture, fashion and mixed media. Guests can meet the artists, explore interactive installations and browse works available for purchase, alongside offerings from local vendors. The evening features live painting, photo moments, a Maker’s Mark cocktail experience, and complimentary creative headshots and portrait sessions.
True to Socialxchange’s signature style, Basel B.A.E pairs the art program with an eclectic DJ lineup and a high-energy atmosphere that carries through the night. Food, hookah, VIP tables and bottle service will be available.
