Arsht Gospel Choir Invitational
Feb 14, 2026
Starting: 06:00 PM
Gospel music, community and spirited competition converge at the Adrienne Arsht Center as the Arsht Gospel Choir Invitational returns for its second year.
Presented in the Knight Concert Hall, the invitational brings together collegiate, community and church choirs from across Florida for an evening that celebrates vocal excellence, creativity and showmanship. Participating ensembles include the Florida A&M University Gospel Choir, Florida Memorial University Ambassador Chorale, Holy Cross Lutheran Praise Choir, Mt. Pisgah Mass Choir and Renewed Choir, each taking the stage to deliver a full performance before a live audience and panel of judges.
The event is hosted by gospel singer, songwriter and producer Corey Edwards. Judges for the evening include gospel agent Kelvin Leach, Arsht Gospel Council member and music educator Zipporah Hayes, and Gamaliel Fleurantin, leader of Community Sounds, the winner of last year’s invitational. In addition to a cash grand prize, the winning choir earns the opportunity to perform at Gospel Fest Miami Weekend in June.
The Arsht Gospel Choir Invitational takes place Saturday, February 14, at 6 p.m. Tickets are offered on a Pay What You Can basis as part of the Arsht Center’s commitment to accessibility, with free admission and a suggested contribution of $20 or more to support live performing arts in Miami-Dade County.
The invitational serves as the official kickoff to Gospel Fest Miami, the Arsht Center’s months-long celebration of gospel music history, and culture, which continues throughout the spring with performances, workshops and educational programming.
