Art Deco Walking Tour

Pastel façades, curved corners and ornamental details trace Miami Beach’s architectural history on a guided walk through its historic district. Presented by the Miami Design Preservation League, the Art Deco Walking Tour explores Art Deco, Mediterranean Revival and Miami Modern design, connecting the buildings with stories of the city’s development and preservation.

The approximately two-hour, 1.5-mile route includes interior visits to selected hotels, restaurants and commercial buildings. Tours depart from the Art Deco Welcome Center at 1001 Ocean Drive, with headsets provided and groups limited to 20 participants. No architectural background is required.

Admission is $50 for adults ages 18–64, $40 for seniors ages 65 and older and $35 for youths ages 13–17. Children ages 12 and younger attend free.

Morning tours are offered daily, except November 26, December 24 and December 25. Arrive 15 minutes before departure for check-in. Some buildings have limited wheelchair accessibility. Service animals are permitted; pets are not.
