Art + Mind Day

Poetry, music, theater, dance and hands-on creative activities come together in a day devoted to the connection between the arts and well-being at the Adrienne Arsht Center. The annual Art + Mind Day returns Saturday, August 7 as part of Arsht for Miami, bringing Miami artists and arts therapists together for performances, workshops and immersive experiences.

Programs throughout the day invite participants to explore creative expression, mindfulness and movement through a range of performing arts practices. Mini performances and guided activities offer opportunities to write, make music, move, meditate and engage with the arts in an informal, participatory setting.

Art + Mind Day is part of the Arsht Center’s community-focused Arsht Impact programming. Admission is offered through the Center’s Pay What You Can model, with free tickets available and optional contributions supporting its education and community programs.
