Artist + Curator Talk: Penumbras

This special Artist + Curator Talk offers insight into the early decades of ArtCenter and the artists who shaped its legacy. Presented as part of the opening reception for Penumbras: a narrative of ArtCenter/South Florida • Oolite Arts (1984–2014), the conversation takes place Wednesday, August 6 at Oolite Arts on Lincoln Road.

Co-curators Marie Vickles and William Cordova will be joined by artists Charo Oquet, Fenol Marcelin and Jodie Lyn-Kee-Chow to discuss the impact of Oolite’s residency programs, the institution’s evolving community role and the lasting importance of artist-led spaces.
