Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida: Fairy Doll

An elegant toy shop becomes a stage for dancing dolls, playful characters and classical choreography after its doors close for the night. Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida presents performances Saturday, March 6 and Sunday, March 7 at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center under Artistic Director Vladimir Issaev.

Originally choreographed in 1903 and restaged by Issaev, Fairy Doll follows a collection of toys that magically come to life. Colorful costumes, humor and intricate ensemble dancing shape the rarely performed ballet, which offers an accessible introduction to classical storytelling for audiences of all ages.

Lap tickets for children ages 12 months and younger may be purchased at the box office on the day of the performance. Latecomers will not be seated until intermission.
