Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida: The Nutcracker

A sensory-inclusive adaptation of the holiday classic comes to life as Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida presents The Nutcracker at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center. This abridged 60-minute performance, scheduled for Sunday, December 14, is specially designed for children and adults on the autism spectrum or with sensory sensitivities.

Modifications to sound, lighting and special effects help create a supportive environment, with a designated Quiet Room and trained volunteers available throughout the experience. Featuring vibrant costumes, Tchaikovsky’s acclaimed score and a multigenerational cast of dancers, the production offers an accessible introduction to ballet and the spirit of the season. Guests can also enjoy complimentary pre-show arts and crafts beginning one hour before curtain, along with a post-show character meet and greet.
