Overtown Music & Arts Festival
Jul 19, 2025
From: 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM
A celebrated cultural tradition returns to its historic roots in Miami's Overtown neighborhood. The Overtown Music & Arts Festival makes its homecoming to Dorsey Park on Saturday, July 19. After a six-year hiatus, the festival reemerges with a family-style experience that’s more connected, more community-driven and filled with the energy that has defined this event for over a decade.
Since 2014, the Overtown Music & Arts Festival has served as a cultural cornerstone, bringing the community together through live entertainment, art, food, games and youth programming. This free event continues its legacy of showcasing Grammy-winning talent while uplifting local artists and creatives across South Florida.
This year’s lineup features headline performances by Estelle, Melanie Fiona, Carl Thomas, Tito Puente Jr. and The Gospel Explosion, along with themed musical experiences including Doo Wop (classic R&B/soul), The Sample (old school vs. new school), Who’s Era (hits from the '80s, '90s and 2000s), Island Wave (dancehall, afrobeats and Latin vibes) and The 305 (a tribute to Miami music).
The festival will transform Dorsey Park into a cultural hub, with visual art installations, handmade crafts and a curated market featuring handcrafted jewelry and original artworks that reflect the region’s multicultural heritage. Culinary offerings will include local favorites like garlic crabs, fried lobster and fresh conch salad, as well as soul food staples, Caribbean dishes, and festival street eats like jerk chicken, hibachi bowls and BBQ ribs.
Admission is free and open to all.
