Arturo O’Farrill brings his bold, genre-blending approach to Latin jazz to the Banyan Bowl in a live performance that fuses tradition, innovation and cultural storytelling. Known for combining Afro-Cuban rhythms with contemporary jazz, O’Farrill delivers an evening that reflects both musical mastery and a commitment to social themes.
He will perform on Saturday, January 17 at Pinecrest Gardens as part of the 16th Annual Jazz at Pinecrest Gardens 2025/2026 season. A Grammy-winning pianist, composer and founder of the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra, O’Farrill is a leading figure in preserving and reimagining Latin jazz. His work draws from the musical landscapes of Cuba, Mexico and New York, and includes collaborations with artists such as Dizzy Gillespie, Wynton Marsalis and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
The concert offers a rare opportunity to hear one of today’s most influential jazz artists in an intimate outdoor setting. Ticket information will be available beginning August 2025.
