Asian street-food traditions and contemporary interpretations share the spotlight at a late-night, walk-around tasting at Loews Miami Beach Hotel. The annual Asian Night Market returns Thursday, February 25 as part of the South Beach Wine & Food Festival®, hosted by chef and restaurateur Jet Tila and Food Network Star winner and cookbook author Aarti Sequeira.
The outdoor market features dishes inspired by culinary traditions across Asia, with offerings ranging from dumplings, bao and noodles to curries, grilled satay and sushi. Wine, beer, cocktails and music accompany the tastings.
Participating chefs include Tyson Cole of Uchi Restaurants, Dustin Everett of Fish Cheeks, José Mendín of Pubbelly Sushi, Sunny Kaminski of 2 Korean Girls and Diego Ng of Temple Street Eatery. Other featured restaurants and concepts include CHŌ Funky Asian Bistro, Baoshi, Fuku, SoulPhil and Jarana Aventura.
Admission includes all food and drinks. The event is open to ages 21 and older, with a smart casual dress code.
