Aymée Nuviola "90 MILLAS"
Sep 26, 2026
Starting: 7:30 PM
Grammy and Latin Grammy-winning Cuban vocalist Aymée Nuviola explores the ties between Cuba and Miami through music shaped by memory, migration and cultural identity. The performance takes place Saturday, September 26 at Sanctuary of the Arts in Coral Gables as part of its Hispanic Heritage Month programming. The title 90 Millas refers to the distance separating Cuba from South Florida, framing the concert around the emotional and cultural connections sustained across that divide.
Born in Havana, Nuviola is known for a repertoire that moves through son, timba, salsa, jazz, bolero and other Cuban traditions. Her career has included both contemporary projects and performances rooted in the music that has shaped generations of Cuban and Cuban American listeners.
Presented by Williamson Cadillac, the concert centers on nostalgia, roots and the continuing presence of Cuban culture within Miami’s diaspora community.
