Basel: Benny Benassi (Italo Disco Set)

The melodic, synthesizer-driven sound of Italo disco shapes a dedicated set by Benny Benassi at Jolene Sound Room Miami. The Italian DJ and producer performs Wednesday, December 2 as part of Jolene Basel 2026 programming during Miami Art Week.

Benassi helped define the sound of early-2000s electro house with “Satisfaction,” created with his cousin and longtime studio collaborator Alle Benassi. His subsequent work includes “Cinema” with Gary Go and a remix of Public Enemy’s “Bring the Noise,” which earned him a Grammy Award in 2008.

Located beneath Julia & Henry’s in Downtown Miami, Jolene offers an intimate setting inspired by midcentury recording studios and 1970s lounges. Admission is limited to guests ages 21 and older.
