African and Caribbean influences meet melodic house and layered percussion in the music of Francis Mercier. The Haitian DJ and producer performs Saturday, December 5 at Jolene Sound Room Miami as part of Jolene Basel 2026 programming during Miami Art Week.
Mercier heads Deep Root Records and has collaborated with artists including Magic System and Amadou & Mariam, the latter alongside BLOND on “Sete.” His Solèy party series, named for the Haitian Creole word for “sun,” extends that cross-cultural approach and became a residency at Hï Ibiza in 2026.
Located beneath Julia & Henry’s in Downtown Miami, Jolene offers an intimate setting inspired by midcentury recording studios and 1970s lounges. Admission is limited to guests ages 21 and older.
