Best Baguette and Croissant Competition

Florida bakers put their baguettes and croissants to a public taste test during an annual competition devoted to French baking traditions. The event takes place Sunday, October 25 at The National Hotel in Miami Beach. Presented by the French American Association of Crafts & Trades in partnership with French Morning, the competition brings together finalists from bakeries across the state.
Guests can sample the competing baguettes, croissants and additional pastries accompanied by artisan cheeses and charcuterie. A panel of culinary professionals will select the Grand Prix winners for Best Baguette and Best Croissant, while attendees may cast ballots for the People’s Choice Award. Admission also includes one complimentary drink.
The event is open to guests ages 21 and older. Valet parking is available.
