Black Chiney Sound

Caribbean rhythms, dancehall and genre-blending DJ sets take over ZeyZey Miami’s indoor Tima Disco with Black Chiney Sound. Performing Thursday, October 22 in Little Haiti, the set features Supa Dups and Willy Chin, longtime members of the Miami-based sound system known for its remixes, dubplates and international club presence.

Jamaican-born and Miami-raised, Supa Dups is a producer, songwriter and DJ whose credits include work with Drake, Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Sean Paul and Buju Banton. Willy Chin joined Black Chiney in 2003 after building a reputation for remixes and selector sets, later bringing the group’s Caribbean-rooted sound to audiences across the Americas, Europe, Asia and the Caribbean.

Black Chiney Sound blends dancehall, reggae, hip-hop, R&B and other club styles through a sound-system approach shaped by Jamaican music culture and Miami nightlife.
