Black History Night at North Shore Park
Feb 13, 2026
From: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
A community-focused celebration brings performances, family activities and public recognition together as part of the City of Miami Beach’s Black History Month programming.
Black History Night takes place Friday, February 13 at North Shore Park Youth Center on Miami Beach, presented by the City of Miami Beach Parks and Recreation Department. The evening recognizes the heritage, accomplishments and cultural contributions of Black Americans through live performances by the City’s after-school participants, along with bounce houses, unlimited rides, food vendors and additional family-friendly activities.
As part of the program, the Black Affairs Advisory Committee will present the 2026 Black History Month Community Member Award for Public Service, posthumously honoring Officer Arthur “Art” Martineau for his exceptional commitment and dedication to the City of Miami Beach and the broader community.
Pre-registration is required to receive a free unlimited ride wristband and access to bounce houses. Registration is available through the City of Miami Beach Parks system, and ticket confirmation must be presented at the entrance. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase.
