Blue Violin’s Thunderstruck: A Classic Rock Tribute

Classic rock anthems are recast for solo violin in a candlelit performance by Blue Violin at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center. Taking place Friday, February 5, the concert pairs virtuosic string playing with arrangements of songs associated with AC/DC, Queen, Led Zeppelin and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Blue Violin is the performance persona of a conservatory-trained violinist whose programs bridge classical technique with rock repertoire and theatrical staging. The setlist includes “Thunderstruck,” “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Stairway to Heaven” and “Free Bird,” translating familiar guitar-driven songs into an instrumental format centered on violin.

VIP tickets include preferred seating, a pre-show meet-and-greet, Q&A, signed poster and digital materials. Discounted tickets are available for children ages 4-17, while children age 3 and younger may receive a free lap ticket from the box office on the day of the performance.
