Bop Shop Brass
Nov 20, 2026
Starting: 12:45 PM - 1:45 PM
New Orleans-style funk, hip-hop and jazz meet in a brass band performance at Miami Book Fair. Bop Shop Brass performs Friday, November 20 at the Off the Shelf Stage at Miami Dade College’s Wolfson Campus in Downtown Miami.
Formed in Miami in 2021, the ensemble combines original music and arrangements with a sound rooted in brass band traditions and contemporary grooves. Its approach draws connections between the rhythmic drive of funk, hip-hop beats and jazz phrasing.
