CAM Fest: Volume Check - Landfall & Ruck

Funk, hip-hop and rock collide in a high-energy double bill featuring the contemporary ensembles Landfall and Ruck at the Knight Center for Music Innovation. Presented Monday, November 2, as part of Frost Music Live’s 2026-2027 season, the concert is part of the Creative American Music Festival and is directed by Brian Russell and Steve Rucker.
The two ensembles bring contrasting approaches to contemporary band performance, drawing on groove-driven rhythms, amplified instrumentation and genre-crossing arrangements. The program highlights the collaborative, performance-focused side of Frost’s Creative American Music program while giving student musicians room to explore music rooted in popular and contemporary styles.
The concert takes place on the Hormel Innovation Stage. Tickets are $10.
