Candlelight: Christmas Classics

Seasonal favorites and familiar holiday melodies are reimagined for string quartet in a candlelit concert at First Church Miami. Held Saturday, December 19 with two performances, the program features Listeso String Quartet playing a mix of traditional carols, classical selections and contemporary Christmas songs.

The tentative program includes Tchaikovsky’s “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy,” “Carol of the Bells,” “O Holy Night,” “Greensleeves,” “Feliz Navidad,” “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” “Last Christmas” and “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” along with music from Frozen, Anastasia and The Holiday.

First Church Miami provides the setting with stained-glass windows, high ceilings and resonant acoustics suited to the Candlelight series’ intimate string arrangements.
