Candlelight: Ed Sheeran Meets Coldplay

Songs by Coldplay and Ed Sheeran are reworked for string quartet in a candlelit performance at Miami’s historic Scottish Rite Temple. Presented on Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, January 24, the 60-minute concert features the Listeso String Quartet performing selections from both artists’ catalogs.

The tentative program pairs Coldplay favorites including “Clocks,” “Fix You,” “The Scientist,” “Viva La Vida” and “A Sky Full of Stars” with Ed Sheeran songs such as “Bad Habits,” “Photograph,” “Shivers,” “Perfect” and “Shape of You.” The set also includes “Something Just Like This,” Coldplay’s collaboration with The Chainsmokers.

The concert is open to guests ages 8 and older, with attendees under 16 required to be accompanied by an adult. The organizer notes that the venue is not accessible, and late entry is not permitted once the performance begins.
