Candlelight: Tribute to Juan Gabriel on Strings

Juan Gabriel’s romantic ballads and pop classics are reimagined for string quartet in a candlelit performance at First Church Miami. Presented Saturday, November 14 and Saturday, January 9, the tribute features Listeso String Quartet performing selections from the Mexican singer-songwriter’s extensive catalog.

The tentative program includes “Querida,” “Amor Eterno,” “Así Fue,” “Abrázame Muy Fuerte,” “Siempre en Mi Mente,” “El Noa Noa” and “Caray.” The arrangements translate Juan Gabriel’s dramatic melodies and emotionally direct songwriting into an intimate chamber format beneath the stained glass and soaring ceilings of the Downtown Miami church.

The 60-minute performance is open to guests ages 8 and older, with anyone under 16 required to attend with an adult. Seating within each ticketed zone is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
