Carlita + LP Giobbi

Two globally recognized producers share the booth for a Miami Music Week edition of LIV’s late-night series at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach. Carlita and LP Giobbi perform on Wednesday, March 25, with doors opening at 11:30 p.m. The event is 21 and over.

Turkish-Italian DJ and multi-instrumentalist Carlita, born Carla Frayman in Istanbul, brings a classically trained background to her genre-blurring sets. A former cello student who graduated from the Royal Academy of Music at 16, she weaves together elements of Turkish folk, psychedelic textures, melodic techno and house. Her debut album Sentimental, released via Ninja Tune, features collaborations with SG Lewis, DJ Tennis and Elderbrook, and has helped solidify her presence at festivals and venues including Coachella, Tomorrowland, Circoloco and Printworks London.

Sharing the lineup, LP Giobbi channels her roots as a jazz pianist into an uplifting strain of piano house. Born Leah Chisholm, the Oregon-raised producer and DJ is the founder of Femme House, a nonprofit supporting women and gender-expansive creatives in music, and co-founder of the label Animal Talk. Her debut album Light Places earned industry recognition including DJ Mag’s Producer of the Year honors, and she has released official remixes for artists such as Taylor Swift, RÜFÜS DU SOL and Bob Marley & The Wailers. She has performed at Coachella, Red Rocks, Tomorrowland and major clubs worldwide.
