Experience the vibrant rhythms and colorful traditions of the Colombian Caribbean right in the heart of Coral Gables. The Carnaval de Barranquilla will take place on Saturday, April 26, beginning with a parade that starts at the Consulate of Colombia in Miami and culminates at Ponce Circle Park.
The festivities commence at 3 p.m. from 280 Aragon Avenue as parade participants make their way to Ponce Circle Park. Upon arrival at the park, attendees will be treated to a stage filled with live music performances, traditional Colombian dance and authentic cuisine until 9 p.m.
This celebration aims to showcase one of Colombia's most important cultural events, recognized globally and designated by UNESCO and the Congress of the Republic as a masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Humanity and Cultural Heritage. The carnival has gained increasing popularity in the United States, drawing many Latino communities with its distinctive sounds, gastronomy and dances.
The event is organized by the Barranquilla Carnival Miami United States.
