Central Makers at Gold Coast Railroad Museum
Sep 05, 2026
monthly on the 1st Saturday - Through Jun 05, 2027
From: 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Historic railcars, model trains and local makers come together for a recurring monthly market at the Gold Coast Railroad Museum. Held on the first Saturday of each month, the event combines free museum admission with artisan vendors, family activities, food trucks and opportunities to explore the museum’s railroad collection. Visitors can see highlights including the presidential railcar Ferdinand Magellan and Florida East Coast Steam Locomotive No. 113 while browsing handcrafted goods from Central Makers vendors.
Families can also explore the museum’s model railroad exhibits, take part in hands-on activities and purchase tickets for train rides around the property. The partnership between Central Makers and the Gold Coast Railroad Museum brings the market into a setting devoted to South Florida’s railroad history, pairing contemporary crafts with preserved locomotives and passenger cars.
Admission to the museum is free during the event, with train rides available for an additional fee. The market takes place every first Saturday except July 4.
