Chinese Culture Festival: Harvest Moon Celebration

Chinese music, dance, opera, martial arts and hands-on traditions come together for an afternoon celebrating the Mid-Autumn season at Miami Dade College’s Wolfson Campus. The annual Chinese Culture Festival returns Saturday, October 3, with a Harvest Moon Celebration presented by the Chinese Language Teachers Association of Florida. The family-friendly program brings together performances, cultural activities and community organizations in Downtown Miami.
Visitors can explore a cultural fair featuring calligraphy, lantern-making, traditional games, arts and crafts, workshops and community vendors. A separate performance program highlights Chinese and other Asian cultural traditions through live music, dance, opera, martial arts and additional presentations.
Admission to the festival’s cultural fair, activities and exhibits is free. Tickets to the main performance program are $15.
