An afternoon recital at Granada Church highlights the artistry of pianist and fortepianist Angie Zhang, a rising voice on the American classical stage.
Chopin for All: Angie Zhang takes place Sunday, February 15, presented by the Chopin Foundation of the United States. Zhang, 6th Prize winner at the 2025 National Chopin Piano Competition and finalist in the American Pianists Awards, is recognized for performances that balance historical insight with contemporary expression. She has appeared as soloist with orchestras from the Indianapolis Symphony to the Juilliard Orchestra and is noted for her work with both modern and historical instruments, including a recent two-disc Chopin recording on period pianos.
The program will feature works by Chopin, continuing the Foundation’s free monthly series that brings world-class pianists to local audiences. Admission is free with general seating available on a first-come basis, and registration is recommended. Complimentary parking is provided at Granada Church.
