CHOPIN Salons: Claire Huangci

International concert pianist Claire Huangci returns to Miami for an afternoon recital at the historic Miami Beach Woman’s Club. Presented Sunday, April 4, the performance is part of the Chopin Foundation of the United States’ seasonal CHOPIN Salons series, which pairs classical music with a post-concert wine reception and optional catered dinner.

Huangci has longstanding ties to the Foundation, having won First Prize at the National Chopin Piano Competition in Miami in 2010. The American pianist later won First Prize and the Mozart Prize at the 2018 Concours Géza Anda in Zurich and has performed at venues including Carnegie Hall, the Philharmonie de Paris, Leipzig Gewandhaus and Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie. Her wide-ranging repertoire extends from Bach and Scarlatti through Romantic and contemporary works, and her recordings include the complete Chopin nocturnes.

General admission includes the concert and wine reception, while a separate ticket option adds dinner and additional time to mingle with the artist and fellow guests. Chopin Foundation members receive complimentary admission to the concert and reception.
