Christmas Tree Lighting: The Grove Polar Express

Coconut Grove turns Fuller Street into a festive winter village with an evening of music, lights and family activities at The Grove Polar Express tree-lighting celebration.
Presented by the Coconut Grove BID, the event features Santa’s grand arrival during a golf cart parade, carols by the St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church Choir, holiday crafts, treats, a sparkling snow zone and photo ops with Santa. The evening centers around the community tree-lighting countdown, followed by a snowfall effect that transforms the street into a holiday scene.
Evening Program
- 6:00 p.m. – Golf Cart Parade & Santa’s Arrival
- 6:45 p.m. – Christmas Carols by St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church Choir
- 7:00 p.m. – Welcome remarks from Grove BID executives & Commissioner
- 7:03 p.m. – Holiday Blessing by Father Mathew
- 7:04 p.m. – Tree-Lighting Countdown
- 7:05 p.m. – “Let It Snow” – snowfall across Fuller Street
- 7:06 p.m. – Choir Performance
Hosted by the Coconut Grove Business Improvement District and District 2 Commissioner Damian Pardo, this family-friendly celebration offers pajama-ready fun for all ages.
