Clean Miami Beach: Turtle Tuesday Beach Clean Up

Beach cleanup supplies, community service hours and sea turtle awareness come together for an evening volunteer effort organized by Clean Miami Beach. Turtle Tuesday Beach Cleanup takes place Tuesday, August 4 on the beach at 29th Street near The Miami Beach EDITION. The cleanup is open to all ages and supports efforts to protect the shoreline and nearby ocean habitat.

Volunteers will meet oceanfront near the lifeguard tower and should look for the turtle flag. Cleanup supplies, including sanitized gloves, buckets, bags and pickers, will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle, wear reef-safe sun protection and choose closed-toe shoes for cleaning near the dunes.

Community service hours are available for participants who arrive on time. Limited metered parking is available nearby at 2660 Collins Avenue.
