Converge: Richie Hawtin B2b Dubfire
Mar 25, 2026
From: 9:00 PM to 3:00 AM
A back-to-back set between two pioneers of minimal and techno anchors a late-night Miami Music Week takeover at Fooqs Miami in Little River. For one night, the restaurant transforms into an intimate performance space pairing forward-thinking electronic music with curated culinary offerings.
Converge: Richie Hawtin B2b Dubfire takes place Wednesday, March 25.
British-Canadian innovator Richie Hawtin, a key figure in Detroit’s second-wave techno and founder of the Plus 8 and M-nus labels, joins Iranian American DJ and producer Dubfire for a rare b2b set. Dubfire, formerly one half of Grammy-winning duo Deep Dish, is known for his stripped-back techno sound and his SCI + TEC imprint. Support on the main floor comes from Magda, whose roots in Detroit’s underground and longtime association with Minus have shaped her adventurous, genre-blurring style.
Upstairs in the Lion’s Den, Satoshi Tomiie delivers a special set after 11:30 p.m. A veteran of global house music with collaborations alongside Frankie Knuckles and remixes for artists including U2 and David Bowie, Tomiie brings decades of dancefloor refinement to the booth.
General admission includes access to the main floor and patio. Guests may order from an à la carte yakitori selection throughout the evening. A limited six-person standing omakase experience in the Lion’s Den features handrolls by Chef Noz and Chef Shingo of Michelin-starred Sushi Noz and Shingo, accompanied by sounds from DJ Nigiri. Outdoor VIP tables are also available. This is a 21+ event.
