Cortadito Tribute to Buena Vista Social Club

Son montuno, bolero, guaracha and other Cuban rhythms return to the Banyan Bowl in a tribute to the music associated with Buena Vista Social Club. The concert takes place Saturday, April 3 at Pinecrest Gardens, closing the fifth annual Tropical Nights series.
Miami-based ensemble Cortadito draws on the sound of Cuba’s early popular music, including traditions linked to Trio Matamoros and Ignacio Piñeiro. Founded by bandleader José Elias, the group has performed with artists including Nestor Torres, Chucho Valdés and Buena Vista Social Club member Eliades Ochoa.
Season subscriptions go on sale in July and August, while single-show tickets are scheduled for release in September. Free parking and access to pre-show concessions are included for concert patrons.
