Create! Make a Magical Bookmark with Nicole Combeau
Nov 20, 2026
From: 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM
Birds, plants, stars and maps become elements of miniature worlds in a bookmark-making workshop led by artist and educator Nicole Combeau. Create! Make a Magical Bookmark takes place Friday, November 20 at the Create! Canopy in Children’s Alley, part of Miami Book Fair at Miami Dade College’s Wolfson Campus in Downtown Miami.
Participants combine transparent image transfers, collage, drawing and colorful materials to create layered bookmarks to take home. Combeau, a first-generation Colombian American photo artist based in Miami, works across photography, book arts and sculpture, exploring identity, memory and spirituality.
This featured workshop requires a free ticket because seating is limited. Tickets may be picked up at the Children’s Alley Info Booth. A standby line will be available for spaces left by ticket holders who do not attend.
