Dan + Claudia Zanes Holiday Sing Along

A spirited blend of music, tradition and community warmth fills the Adrienne Arsht Center this holiday season.

The Dan + Claudia Zanes Holiday Sing Along, part of the Arsht Center Impact Series and an Arsht for Miami presentation, takes place on Sunday, December 14. Grammy Award winner Dan Zanes and jazz vocalist and music therapist Claudia Zanes reimagine the New England sing-alongs of their childhood with a 21st-century twist, expanding beyond Christmas to include songs and stories from a range of cultures and winter traditions.

The program pairs seasonal favorites with music from Puerto Rico, Korea, Wales, Tunisia, Haiti and Washington, D.C., reflecting holidays such as Hanukkah, Korean New Year, Kwanzaa and the winter solstice. Smithsonian Folkways artists Dan + Claudia are joined by jazz vocalist Tyree Austin and multi-instrumentalist Elena Moon Park, shaping an intimate living-room feel with guitar, violin, trumpet, harmonica, flute, spoons, percussion and mandolin.

Admission is free, with a required first-access pass.
