Dance NOW! Miami presents: Gravity & Grace

Contemporary and classical dance share the stage as Dance NOW! Miami performs alongside special guest Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center. Taking place Sunday, March 14, the one-night program brings together repertory from both South Florida companies, including works that move between intimate theatricality, athletic ensemble movement and multimedia performance.
Dance NOW! Miami presents Diego Salterini’s E/Motion, created in 2021 in response to the isolation of the COVID era and incorporating original music by Davidson Jaconello with video by Salterini. Hannah Baumgarten’s Among Lovers & Friends, set to music by Robert Schumann, unfolds around the dynamics of an intimate dinner party.
Marking its 10th anniversary season, Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami contributes selections from a decade of repertory. Dancers from both companies also come together in a blended cast for one of Dance NOW! Miami’s signature works.
