Daniel Lewis Dance Sampler

Seven South Florida dance companies share the stage in a fast-moving program spanning ballet, modern, contemporary and physically integrated dance. Presented Saturday, October 17 at New World Dance Theater, the 16th annual Daniel Lewis Dance Sampler offers short works and excerpts designed to introduce audiences to the range of dance being created across the region.
The 2026 program features Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida, Dance NOW! Miami, Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami, Karen Peterson & Dancers, New World Dance Ensemble, Pioneer Winter Collective and Syncopate Collective. Together, the companies represent a broad mix of movement styles, choreographic approaches and artistic perspectives.
Presented by Miami Dance Futures in collaboration with Dance NOW! Miami and New World School of the Arts, the Sampler was founded by Daniel Lewis, founding dean of dance at New World School of the Arts. Tickets range from $15 to $25.
