Death Cab for Cutie: I Built You A Tower Tour

Death Cab for Cutie brings its melodic, introspective indie rock to The Fillmore Miami Beach, with alternative act Swapmeet opening the show. The Thursday, March 18 concert is part of the band’s 2027 North American tour supporting I Built You A Tower, its 11th studio album. The spring run follows international dates in Europe, Japan and Australia.

Formed in Bellingham, Washington, Death Cab for Cutie became a defining presence in 2000s indie rock through albums including Transatlanticism, Plans and Narrow Stairs, with Ben Gibbard’s songwriting often pairing intimate narratives with atmospheric guitar-driven arrangements. The band’s catalog includes songs such as “The New Year,” “Soul Meets Body” and “I Will Follow You into the Dark.”

Released on ANTI- Records, I Built You A Tower explores loss, grief and the process of moving forward, with “Stone Over Water” among its recent singles. The 2027 tour extends the album’s live cycle across North America through mid-April.
