Disney and Pixar’s Finding Nemo

An undersea journey through the Great Barrier Reef comes to the stage as part of Actors’ Playhouse’s Children’s Theatre season at the Miracle Theatre in Coral Gables. Public performances of Disney and Pixar’s Finding Nemo, A Family Musical take place July 10, 11, 17 and 24, following cautious clownfish Marlin as he crosses the ocean in search of his son Nemo.

Based on the 2003 Disney and Pixar film, the family musical features music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, with a book adapted by Lindsay Anderson and musical arrangements and orchestrations adapted by Myna Conn. Along the way, Marlin encounters familiar characters including Dory and sea turtle Crush, while both father and son face challenges that test their independence, courage and trust in one another.

The Sunday, July 11 matinee is a sensory-inclusive performance and also features audio description for audience members who are blind or have low vision.
