From: 8:30 PM to 11:00 PM
Shakespeare’s comedy of tangled romances, mischievous fairies and theatrical mishaps gets an unpredictable drinking-game twist at Villain Theater. The full-length production takes place Saturday, August 15 in Little Haiti. Presented as the theater’s 11th-anniversary fundraiser, the performance adds a standing rule: whenever an actor calls for a line, they must take a shot.
Directed by Peter Mir, the cast features Mir as Oberon, Veronica Veliz as Titania, Stefano Garcini as Puck, Danny Turkel as Demetrius, Jannelys Santos as Helena, Alexx Romero as Lysander and Lucia Martinez as Hermia. Gonzalo Moreira plays Egeus, Al D’Amico plays Hippolyta, Corinna Wollmann plays Theseus, Chachi Colón plays Peter Quince, John Rodriguez plays Bottom, Ines Santana plays Flute, Taylor Baez plays Snug, Manny Cureton plays Snout and Alex Cacciamani plays Starveling. Benjamin Germain, Anabella Santos, Naomi Davis, Aimee Poyato, Evelyn Poyato and Sofi Ambra appear as the fairies.
There is no drink minimum, and parking is free.
